Position Overview:

Are you a creative soul with a flair for character design? Do you have a knack for bringing characters to life through your artistic vision? If so, we want to hear from you! As a Character Designer, you will play a pivotal role in developing unique and memorable characters for our SCHMORANGES franchise. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our entire creative team, contributing your ideas and expertise to shape the visual identity of our characters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop original character concepts that align with project themes and narratives. - Collaborate with writers, storyboard artists, and other designers to ensure cohesive character development and storytelling. - Create character turnarounds, expressions, and poses that showcase personality and emotion. - Revise and iterate on designs based on feedback from the creative team and project leads. - Prepare and present design pitches that clearly communicate your vision and ideas.

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience as a character designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your range and creativity. - Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, 3D Studio Max, etc.) and an understanding of traditional art techniques. - A solid understanding of character anatomy, color theory, and design principles. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team. - A positive attitude, open-mindedness, and a willingness to accept and provide constructive feedback. -Passion for storytelling and an eagerness to contribute to exciting media projects.
