Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Creative Advisor to join our Alexander X. Zebra team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of character and media franchise development, with a strong background in creative strategy, content creation and development, and project management. As a Creative Advisor, you will work closely with our executive team, creative directors, and development staff to identify new opportunities for franchise expansion and optimize existing properties. Your expertise will help shape the creative direction of the Alexander X. Zebra franchise and ensure alignment with market trends and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creative Strategy Development: - Collaborate with the creative team to define and refine the creative vision for new and existing franchise content. - Develop comprehensive creative strategies that align with business objectives and market demands. - Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to identify trends and opportunities for franchise growth.

2. Content Oversight and Development: - Provide creative direction and feedback on scripts, storylines, character development, and other content across various media formats (film, television, digital, etc.). - Work with writers, directors, and production teams to ensure the creative integrity and quality of all franchise-related content. - Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate innovative ideas for new projects and franchise extensions.

3. Collaboration and Communication: - Act as a liaison between creative teams and other departments, including marketing, finance, and production, to ensure cohesive project execution. - Present creative concepts and strategies to stakeholders, including potential partners, with clarity and enthusiasm. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including writers, directors, producers, and talent, to enhance collaboration and networking opportunities.

4. Franchise Management: - Analyze the performance of existing franchises and provide strategic recommendations for enhancements or repositioning based on audience feedback and market analytics. - Identify cross-promotional opportunities within the franchise portfolio to maximize audience reach and engagement.

5. Mentorship and Leadership: - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior creative staff, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration within the team. - Lead creative workshops and training sessions to enhance team skills and inspire innovative thinking. - Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages diverse perspectives and ideas.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Film, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in creative development, preferably within the media and entertainment industry.

- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching media franchises across multiple platforms.

- Strong understanding of storytelling, character development, and audience engagement strategies.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to think critically and strategically, with a keen eye for detail and creative potential.

- Passion for media, entertainment, and emerging trends in the industry.
