Position Overview:
Are you a natural leader with a knack for organization and a love for multimedia projects? Macguffin Co. is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of multiple cross-functional projects, beginning with our INFINITE MONKEYS franchise launch. You’ll work closely with creative teams, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring that every project runs smoothly, stays on budget, and meets our high standards for quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Management: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Knowledge of all MSFT Office Suite applications, as well as Slack, Notion, and project management software a plus.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative environment by leading cross-functional teams, facilitating communication, and ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications. Keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and any necessary changes to the scope or timeline.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery. Proactively address any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet our high standards of quality and align with the overall vision of Macguffin Co.’s franchises.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial parameters.
- Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-mortem analyses to evaluate project successes and areas for improvement, providing insights for future projects.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Media Production, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the multimedia, entertainment, or creative industries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from inception to completion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solver with a passion for multimedia and storytelling.
- PMP certification or similar is a plus, but not required.
